Ken and Norma, after reading the various comments, it is
truly amazing that you have touched so many people and that so many care about
you. It does not surprise us though as each of you have spent a lifetime helping
and caring for others. There is something truly special about life long friends
(Ken since 7th grade, Norma since college days)they are truly one of God's
special blessings. From the first day of your ordeal to the present, please know
that our family is keeping both of you in our prayers. Norma...as much as Ken
and your family and friends love and care for you, please know that our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ loves and cares for you so much more. We know that these are
indeed trying days yet we know that your Faith will prove more important than
ever and will get you thru this.

The fact that He hears our every utterance is beyond our comprehension, but so
is HE - what a God! Kenny, should Norma need some help recalling "the old days"
just throw on some Harry Chapin, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce and . . . on second
thought - maybe you shouldn't, we barely survived that period. Better stick with
Barry Manilow or ABBA. We love you guys and are praying for you both every day.

Ken and Norma - It was good to read Ken's update today.
It is truly wonderful to hear that Norma is doing as well as she is. I, of

Ken & Norma: How do I begin to tell you what you mean to
my family! Our prayers are with you and I think and pray for you both
continually since I have heard about Norma. I so remember all the good times.
God has been with you always and He will continue to remain faithful. I can't

I just found out about Norma earlier this week but I
want you both to know I immediately began to pray for her recovery. I promise to
continue this and will also make sure my brother's prayer group gets involved
(they are really really good at praying!). Anyway, if there is anything I can do
- besides praying - please do not hesitate to let me know. Drink plenty of
fluids Ken - water that is - so you can keep your strength up. Norma is stubborn
enough to fight her way through this so I will continue to be very optimistic
for a speedy recovery!!! I will also look forward to seeing her again real soon.

One of the saddest parts of being out of the school
industry is not finding out things like this more quickly. I could never
adequately express the love and admiration I have for Norma, as she has been one
of my most trusted friends in NSSEA. However, I am only one of a HUGE number of
people that she has touched in so many ways. I wish the very best for her and
her family. In addition, if there is absolutely anything I can do to help, I am
